: : I have never had the pleasure of reading the Earl of Oxford's poetry, for he was, indeed, a poet, but a respected professor of mine has told me that it is bad. Very bad. There is no way that the Earl of Oxford would claim his terrible poetry, and not the sublime works that were supposedly attributed to William Shakespeare. According to this professor the main proponent of the theory that the Earl of Oxford wrote Shakespeare's plays is the current Earl of Oxford. Enough said.
It seems to me you are falling into the trap that has been set for 400 years. That is the "I've been told" trap.
This type of mindless acceptance has perpetuated the Shaksper myth. White haired professors are damgerous people because "They are Right!!!" Are they?
Question. Question them, their "truth"! Then make up your own mind!
